Mutilated Body of Missing Youth Found in Daringbadi Ghat Road

Berhampur: The body of a missing youth was found at Daringbadi ghat road under Sorada police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district. He went missing on December 13.

The deceased was identified as Hiten Swain of the Bhejiput area in Bhanjanagar.

Reportedly, a few days back, Swain’s wife approached the police and reported her husband missing.

In the wee hours on Sunday, Sorada police received information about a body lying abandoned in bushes along the Daringbadi ghat road.

Two teams from Bhanjanagar and Sorada police stations rushed to the spot and identified the body to be of Hiten Swain.

The police suspect that he was murdered.

A case is registered in this regard and police have started to probe.
