NIA files Charge Sheet Against Dawood Ibrahim and Four others

New Delhi: National Investigative Agency (NIA) has filed a first-ever charge sheet against Dawood Ibrahim, Chota Shakeel, and three arrested members of D- Company on 5th November 2022.

Arif Bhaijan, Shabbir, and Salim Fruit are arrested and accused in this case. A case was registered against them on the 3rd of February 2022 at NIA Police Station in Mumbai.

NIA’s investigations have established that the members of the D-Company had conspired to criminal activities of the gang by carrying out various types of unlawful activities. The investigation further revealed that the gang has collected and extorted huge amounts of money by threatening persons. NIA’s release further said that collected money was also used with the intention to threaten the security of India and create terror in the minds of the general public.

NIA has said that the arrested accused received huge amounts of money through hawala channels from Dawood and Chota Shakeel for triggering sensational terrorist activities in Mumbai and other parts of India. Further investigations in the case are in progress.
