Odisha has been a guide for the country in many ways: Chief Minister

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has hoisted the national flag on the occasion of the 76th Independence Day celebrations at Unit-3 exhibition grounds in the capital. In addition, he received a salute at the parade. Chief Secretary of the state Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, five secretaries VK Pandian and many members of the cabinet and many dignitaries were present on this occasion.

He said, the country is celebrating Azadika Amrit Festival. It is a matter of pride and glory for us as Indians. In many cases, the state has been a guide for the country. Odisha has become a hub in the field of sports. Odisha has done very well for the development of tribals. In the last 75 years, Odisha has shown the way to the country in many fields. Odisha has emerged as the country’s food surplus. It has set an example for the entire world in the field of disaster management. Along with this, the Chief Minister has inaugurated a special photo exhibition to mark 75 years of independence. Similarly, Naveen Patnaik has launched a state-wide tour of the ‘Ahinsa Rath'(Cart of Non-Violence).
