One Held With Over 1K Litre Of Fake Vehicle Lubricant In Rourkela

Rourkela: Police busted a fake vehicle lubricant racket with the arrest of a person in this connection from Plant Site in Rourkela town of Sundargarh district on Tuesday.

The accused was identified as Taslim Arif, a resident of Raza Street within Plant Site police limits here.

Acting on reliable input, police conducted a raid at his house and unearthed 1227.5 litres of spurious engine oil under names of popular brands, 130 empty bottles with duplicate labels, 1730 labels and cap seals, 1100 bottle caps of known companies and other incriminating materials.

Following this, a case has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC and Trade Marks Act /Copy Right Act and further investigation is underway.
