OUAT to Recruit for 49 Assistant Professor Posts

Bhubaneswar: Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) has announced vacancies for 49 Assistant Professor posts. The eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment to posts of Assistant Professors and its equivalent for several subjects lying vacant in teaching and research establishments of the university.

According to the notification, the last date to apply is November 30, 2022.

1. Agricultural Science- 22 posts in various disciplines
2. Veterinary Science- 9 posts in various disciplines
3. Fishery Science- 1 post
4. Agri Engineering and Technology- 3 posts
5. Basic Science and Humanities- 14 posts in various disciplines

“In the event of non-availability or availability of insufficient number of eligible women candidates belonging to any particular community, the vacancies shall be filled up by the male candidates of that community,” OUAT advertisement stated.

Instructions:

The application form should be complete in all respects along with self-attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets of all examinations passed if any, and research publications should be sent to the Registrar, OUAT, Bhubaneswar- 751003, Odisha under Speed post or Registered post as to reach on or before 5 pm on 30 November 2022.

The candidates are required to deposit a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 700 in favor of the Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar.

Age Limit:

The Upper age limit is 35 years as of the last date of the application for general candidates. Relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, Women, and SEBC candidates. There will be no upper age limit for OUAT employees. Essential qualifications shall be considered in respect of different posts advertised as on the last date of submission of the application form.
