‘Pathan’ will Clash with ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’

Veteran Bollywood director Rajkumar Santoshi has decided to lock horns with Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Pathan’ with his directorial venture ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh. ‘Pathan’ is going to hit the screens on January 25, 2023. Just after a day, Rajkumar Santoshi’s movie retelling the story of Gandhiji and Nathuram Godse will be released on January 26, 2023.

Rajkumar Santoshi is making a comeback to the silver screen after a gap of nine long years. Similarly, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to return to the screen after four years.

Rajkumar Santoshi has not yet revealed the actors of ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’. The promo of the movie says, “The National Award-winning director of Damini, Ghatak and many more brings you the biggest war of ideologies, a historical film on a historic day, January 26, 2023, in cinemas.”

Rajkumar Santoshi is well known among cine-fans for his memorable films like ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, ‘Ghayal’, ‘Damini’, ‘Ghatak’,  ‘Khaki’, ‘China Gate’, ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani’, ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’. The last film he had directed was ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ starring Shahid Kapoor.

So it will be an interesting war between ‘Pathan’ and ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’ at the box office.
