New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his grief at the demise of Nandamuri Taraka Ratna Garu.
Terming Garu’s demise as untimely, Mr Modi said that Garu made a mark himself in the world of films and entertainment. In a tweet, the Prime Minister also extended condolences to his family and admirers.

Tollywood actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna breathed his last at Bengaluru’s Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences on Saturday night. He passed away at the age of 39.
Taraka Ratna was admitted to the institute on January 27 after he collapsed during a padayatra of TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh in Kuppam town of Andhra Pradesh. Taraka Ratna was the grandson of TDP founder, legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao. He was the cousin of Junior NTR, Kalyan Ram and Lokesh.
He is survived by his wife Alekhya Reddy and a daughter.
