PM Modi Greets People of Arunachal Pradesh & Mizoram on their Statehood Day

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on their 37th Statehood day today. Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram got the status of State from Union Territory on this day in 1987.

In a tweet, Mr Modi said, Arunachal Pradesh, a state synonymous with dynamism and patriotism. He said the people from the state have contributed to India’s progress in many sectors. Mr Modi also prayed that Arunachal Pradesh keeps scaling new heights of progress in the coming years.

Wishing the people of Mizoram, he said the State is known for its natural beauty, hardworking people and outstanding Mizo culture. The Prime Minister said may the aspirations of the people of Mizoram continue to be fulfilled in the coming times.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on their Statehood Day today. In a tweet, Mr Thakur said, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram’s rich cultures and traditions have added so much to India’s incredible diversity.

The Minister wished for the prosperity and growth of these States so that they can contribute to the country’s remarkable journey.
