PM Modi to Lay Foundation Stone of Projects Worth ₹ 11,300 Cr in Telangana Tomorrow

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing a public meeting at Secunderabad Parade Grounds on Saturday after inaugurating and performing Bhoomipuja to several development projects in Hyderabad.

During the first leg of his three-state visit starting tomorrow, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several rail and highway projects besides other projects worth a total of 11 thousand 355 crore rupees in Telangana. He will visit Telangana, Tamilnadu, and Karnataka states.

The Prime Minister will be flagging off the Vande Bharat train from Secunderabad to Tirupati. This is the second Vande Bharat train for the two Telugu States, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. The Vande Bharat train will have a stoppage at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole, and Nellore and reduce the traveling period to 8 hrs 30 mins from over 10 hours. On the first day of the train, it will also stop at some other stations including Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Tenali, Bapatla, Cheerala, and Guduru.

Besides, the Prime Minister will be laying the foundation stone for the re-development of the Secunderabad railway station taken up at a cost of about 715 crore rupees and dedicating to the nation the Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar doubling project. He will also inaugurate 13 new MMTS services on the occasion.

He will also virtually lay the foundation stone for 6 highway expansion projects and various development works of AIMS Bibinagar.

Meanwhile, the state authorities have made elaborate security arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit.
