President Murmu to Visit Odisha Tomorrow, Elaborate Security Arrangement in Place

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu will reach Odisha on a visit on Tuesday evening. The Twin City Commissionerate Police has made elaborate security arrangements for the President’s visit.

The first citizen of the country is expected to reach Bhubaneswar on Tuesday evening and will spend the night at Raj Bhawan.

On July 26, Wednesday, she will attend various events in Cuttack, including the 10th convocation of the National Law University. She will also lay the foundation stone of the Divine Light Hose of Prajapita Brahmakumari on July 27.

A total of 36 platoons of police force, 3 Quick Response Teams, 2 Special Tactical Units, 12 Additional DCPs, 25 ACPs, 40 Inspectors, and 120 SIs and ASIs will be deployed for the security of the President during her visit. Added to them, 160 traffic personnel and 150 homeguards will also be on duty.

The final carcade rehearsal from the Bhubaneswar airport to the Raj Bhawan was held on Monday.
