Prostitution Racket Busted in Odisha’s Malkangiri; 2 Girls Rescued

Malkangiri: Local police busted a prostitution racket in Odisha’s Malkangiri district. The sex racket was allegedly being run at a rented house on Kumutiguda Street in the city. Police rescued two girls from the spot.

After receiving clues about the racket, a team of Model Police Station, Malkangiri raided the house in the district headquarters town.

Police also detained two youths, who identified themselves as customers. The accused are reportedly residents of the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.

The personnel also seized a lot of objectionable items from the spot.

“We have detained two youths and rescued two girls from the house. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway,” a police officer said.
