Ragging: 12 Accused Students To Be Rusticated From Binayak Acharya College

Berhampur: Anti Ragging Cell of Binayak Acharya College in Odisha’s Berhampur has decided to rusticate 12 students, who were involved in the ragging of junior girl students.

All these students were identified through the video clip of the ragging incident that occurred on the college campus. The victim girl was seen to be beaten and scolded in foul language. When this video clip went viral on social media, Berhampur police immediately initiated action.

According to Berhampur Superintendent of Police (SP), now three youths have been arrested and two juveniles have been detained in relation to this ragging case.  Berhampur Police had requested the college authorities to take strict action against all students who were involved in ragging as per the video clip.
