Railways Pee-Gate: Drunk TTE Urinates on Female Passenger in Akal Takht Express

New Delhi: The pee-gate incident in an Air India flight got repeated in a moving train of the Indian Railways. A drunken TTE named Munna Kumar of Bihar allegedly urinated on a woman in the Akal Takht Express traveling between Amritsar and Kolkata.

The erring TTE was on duty in the train and the victim from Amritsar was travelling with her husband. It is alleged that the TTE urinated on her while she was sleeping.

The woman woke up and shouted for help. Her husband managed to catch the inebriated TTE red-handed. Passengers in the train beat up the TTE before handing him over to the Government Railway Police (GRP).

The couple lodged a complaint with the GRP at Charbagh railway station.

A similar incident occurred on an Air India flight a few months ago when a man who was intoxicated allegedly urinated on the woman seated next to him. Afterwards, Shankar Mishra, an Indian working in America, was detained and given a 4-month ban from flying on Air India aircraft.
