“Rockey Bhai” Threatening to Kill Salman Khan Found to be a Minor; Detained by Police

Mumbai: A minor boy was taken into custody by Mumbai police on Tuesday for allegedly threatening to kill Bollywood star Salman Khan through a phone call.

Mumbai police control room received a threat call on April 10. The caller identified himself as “Rockey Bhai”, a Gau Rakshak (cow vigilante) from Jodhpur in Rajasthan. Then he threatened to “eliminate” Salman Khan on April 30.

Mumbai police managed to track down the caller, who was found to be minor. Police are probing why the minor behaved in such a way.

On March 26, a person named Dhakad Ram of Luni in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur district was arrested for sending a threat mail to Salman Khan.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan has been provided with Y+ category security cover by the Mumbai police. The Maharashtra government assigned security escorts to the superstar after he actor received a threat letter from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The star has also procured a bulletproof vehicle following the repeated death threats.
