Rs 100-Cr-Worth Pan-India Cyber Fraud Unearthed by Haryana Police; 65 Arrested

Chandigarh: A pan-India cyber fraud racket which has cheated over 28,000 people across the country to collect over Rs 100 crore, was busted by Haryana police. Sixty-five persons related to this cyber fraud were arrested. Around 347 fake SIM cards, several ATM cards, and IP addresses were seized from the arrested persons.

This gang of fraudsters was operating from the Nuh district of Haryana. They had spread their tentacles to foreign countries.

Till now around 28,000 FIRs have been registered against this gang. Haryana police are in search of 250 more suspects involved in this racket.

“In this case, the investigation is being carried out with the help of IT experts as the gang’s network is suspected to be spread in other countries,” said Haryana Home Minister Anil Vijthe.
