Russian MP Died of Internal Injuries Caused by Fall: Post-Mortem Report

Bhubaneswar: Russian MP and businessman Pavel Antov died due to internal injury because of a fall, while his traveler associate Vladimir Bidenov’s died due to cardiac arrest. According to police sources, this is suggested by their post-mortem reports.

Antov fell from a Rayagada hotel’s third floor on December 24 to meet his death. Bidenov, was found dead in his room on December 22.

Post-mortem of Vladimir Bidenov (61) was conducted at the Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital on December 24. The autopsy of Pavel Antov (65) was done at the same hospital on December 26. The viscera of Bidenov have been preserved.

Antov, a Russian tycoon and politician had posted an anti-Ukraine war message on social media in June. He had withdrawn it later. He had come to Rayagada along with Bidenov and two other friends on tourist visas to celebrate his 66th birthday.

The other two in the troupe, Pansasenko Natalia (44) and Turov Mikhail (64) along with their tour guide are at the Crime Branch headquarters in Cuttack for interrogation.

Odisha DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal on Tuesday ordered a Crime Branch probe into the ‘unnatural’ death of these two Russians in the same hotel in Rayagada.
