EAM S Jaishankar To Visit Cyprus and Austria

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar will pay official visits to Austria and Cyprus from December 29 2022 to January 3, 2023.

According to the External Affairs Ministry, Dr Jaishankar will meet Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides and pay a visit to Speaker of the House Annita Demetriou during his three-day visit to Cyprus, which begins tomorrow. He will interact with the Indian diaspora residing in Cyprus and speak to the business and investment community of Cyprus.

Dr Jaishankar will meet Alexander Schallenberg, Austria’s Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, during his stay there. This would be India’s first visit to Austria at the level of the External Affairs Minister in the previous 27 years.

The Minister will speak with Chancellor Karl Nehammer of Austria. He will also communicate with Austria’s Indian diaspora. Dr Jaishankar will also meet Rafael Mariano Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
