Section 144 Extended For Another 72 Hours In Bhadrak

Bhadrak: The prohibitory orders imposed by the Bhadrak district administration will remain in force till 11.00 am on April 21.

Reportedly, the orders were clamped in the area after a clash broke out between two groups over a boundary dispute between villages in Bhadrak and Keonjhar districts.

Following the group clash, the district administration promulgated a prohibitory order under Section 144 CrPC. over the spot i.e. Apanda Chhak (Orali Chhak), and In and around 200 mtr radius of the area from 11 AM of 16th April 2023 to 11 AM of 181h April 2023.

The Bonth police station IIC has been directed to promulgate the order on the spot and take necessary and immediate steps to disperse the mob who are creating disturbance over the spot and to take action as per law against those persons, sources said.
