Selfie Mania: Youth Falls into Waterfall While Taking Selfie

Sundargarh: A youth fall into the river after his leg slipped while taking a selfie at Kanakund waterfall in Sundargarh. He went missing after falling into the river.

The missing youth was identified as Somesh Mallik of Sector 15 in Rourkela. He had come for a picnic in Kanakund with his friends.

According to sources, Mallik was clicking pictures while standing on the rocks of the waterfall, but lost his balance and fell into the river.

His friends called the Fire services for help as the youth was untraceable.

Earlier, two people had died at the same spot while taking selfies.

The fire service personnel are trying to trace Mallik.
