Show ‘The Kerala Story’ Ticket to Get Free Tea, Coffee; Gujarat Tea Seller’s Offer

Surat: A tea shop owner in Gujarat’s Surat has offered free tea or coffee to customers who will show a ticket for the movie ‘The Kerala Story.’

This tea shop named ‘Kesaraiya Tea Shop’ is located in the Vesu area of Surat. It has put up a poster with a picture of the movie with the message that customers who come to watch the movie will be served free tea and coffee.

“If customers show their movie ticket at the tea shop, they will receive complimentary tea and coffee. The offer is valid till May 15, 2023”, the poster tells.

The movie ‘The Kerala Story’ is into controversies. BJP-governed states like Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh have made the movie tax-free. But West Bengal has banned it.
