Stepfather Rapes Minor Girl for 1 year in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Mayurbhanj: A minor girl was raped by her stepfather several times in the last 1 year in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district. Reportedly, the minor girl’s own biological mother allegedly helped her husband in this crime.

The accused were identified as Satyaban Nayak and his wife Chumki Nayak.

According to reports, the accused was raping the minor girl for the last one year. He was also threatening her that if she would tell about it anybody he would kill her. Somehow the minor girl managed to lodge a written complaint at Udala Police Station.

After receiving the complaint, the Police swung into action and investigated the case. Police arrested the man and wife and forwarded the two to the Court. Police rescued the victim and sent her to the shelter home.
