Jaws Dropped As Xaverians Hit Floor with Yo Yo Honey Singh & King

Bhubaneswar: XIM University (New Campus), Odisha conducted its Annual Cultural Management Fest ‘Xamboree’ presented by EVOS with IOCL as the Co-Sponsor from 17^th – 19^th of February 2023. Xamboree was hosted with the vision of creating an atmosphere for togetherness through cultural, sports and business events, uniting the Xavier Fraternity and beyond. The event was organized and managed entirely by ‘XSTEC’ which is the Steering Committee of XIM University.

17^th February 2023 – Day 1

Samay Raina, one of the most popular stand-up comedians in India gave a kick-start to Xamboree by being the festival’s first Artist. This imbibed the feeling of happiness, laughter, and excitement among the students.

18^th February 2023 – Day 2

Xamboree’s second day was marked by a dynamic evening filled with Lost Stories’  beats. While King’s performance was an emotion in itself that pumped up the evening. The second day was a perfect blend of events by different schools and committees at XIM University to showcase creativity and intellectual knowledge through these platforms. The events conducted were:

• Attire Spectra: Ethnic Beauty Pageant
• The Spectrum: Chromatica
• ProAct: HR Rapid Fire Quiz
• Battle it Out: Street-Style Dance Competition
• Sonix: Battle of Bands
• Footloose: Group Dance Competition
• Youth Parliament: Mock Parliamentary debate
• Pehchan: Stalls by SHG women
• FIFA

19^th February 2023 – Day 3

The party music by DJ Aceaxe boosted up the youth’s energy through its electrifying beats. This was followed by the megastar of the evening Yo Yo Honey Singh whose Raps and songs had set an iconic vibe for the first time in the city of Bhubaneswar. On the other hand, the university continued with different events throughout the day building up excitement for the evening. The events held on the last day of Xamboree were:

• BullsEye: Finance Quiz and Mock Trading
• Pratiroopan: Pottery Workshop
• Querka: General Knowledge Quiz
• XSHOTS: Movie Screening
• Origami: Fictional Character pitching
• Tamasha: Street Play Competition
• Dhwani: Solo Singing Competition
• Runway Roll: Fashion Show Competition
• Spardha: Entrepreneurship Competition
• Futsal

XIM University also hosted some of the best food joints in Bhubaneswar at its Annual Cultural Management Fest and successfully concluded Xamboree 3.0 with a massive footfall and great enthusiasm.
