“Sukesh misled me, ruined my career, livelihood”:  Jacqueline Fernandez

“Sukesh misled me, ruined my career and my livelihood,” said Actor Jacqueline Fernandez. She also added that conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar had played with her emotions and made her life “hell”. Jacqueline said this during the hearing of the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving her in the Patiala House Court of Delhi.

She claimed that she was taken for a ride by conman Sukesh’s aide Pinky Irani, who introduced him to her as “a government official”. According to Jacqueline, Sukesh had introduced himself as the owner of Sun TV and claimed to be the nephew of J. Jayalalithaa.

She claimed that she got to know his real name only after she got aware of his criminal background after his arrest.

As she had made an urgent request for a hearing, the court set the next date of hearing on January 25.

Since December 2022, Jacqueline is trying to get permission to visit her ailing mother in Bahrain.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar allegedly extorted hundreds of crores from politicians, celebrities, and businessmen.

Jacqueline received crores of rupees worth of gifts from the conman. He also booked a chartered flight for her from Mumbai to Chennai when during his bail period.

According to the ED, the conman is suspected to have sent a large amount of extortion money to Jacqueline.
