Teacher Beats 7-Yr-Old to Death in Bihar for Not Doing Homework

Patna: A 7-year-old boy died after he was allegedly beaten ruthlessly by his school teacher for not doing his homework in Bihar’s Saharsa district. The erring teacher absconded after the incident. Police are yet to track him down.

Father of the child, a resident of Bharrahi village in Madhepura district, alleged that his child was beaten up mercilessly by school director-cum-teacher as he had not done his homework, reported the Hindustan Times.

The father registered an FIR at Sadar police station accusing the teacher of killing his son.

“My son was badly beaten by the teacher who runs a residential school” the father alleged.

“As soon as I came, I found my son lying in his bed and there was no sensation in his body and I took him to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead”, the aggrieved father was quoted by the Hindustan Times.
