Three Odia Health Workers Get National Florence Nightingale Award

New Delhi: One ANM and two nurses from Odisha received the National Florence Nightingale Award presented by the President of India.

The awardees are Ms. Damayanti Rout (ANM), Ms. Shibani Das (Nurse), and Ms. Khulana Barik (Nurse).

The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu presented the National Florence Nightingale Awards to the Nursing professionals for the year 2021 today (November 7, 2022) at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The National Florence Nightingale Awards were instituted in the year 1973 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to recognize meritorious services rendered by nurses and nursing professionals to the society.
