TPCODL Reinforces Rural Connect; Expands Bidyut Seva Kendra Network

Bhubaneswar: On the eve of Maha Vishuba Sankranti, also celebrated as Odia New Year, TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited inaugurated 9 new Bidyut Seva Kendras across Athagarh Division to serve the rural customers. Earlier this week, around 25 BSKs were inaugurated in various electrical circles under TPCODL. Including the new centers, the total number of Bidyut Seva Kendras in operation at present has reached 511.

These centers mainly cater to no power supply complaints of consumers in their respective areas and facilities as a point of contact for rural consumers. All Bidyut Seva Kendras have dedicated technical teams to deal with all sorts of outages and power supply emergencies. Rural customers can connect to the Kendras to get assistance on electricity supply-related services 24X7. On selected days during the week, designated company officials stay present at the Bidyut Seva Kendras to directly connect with rural customers and address their grievances. Consumers can also register their commercial & other complaints.

“Bidyut Seva Kendras are a great platform for our rural consumers to get their power supply-related issues resolved quickly. Simultaneously, it provides us with a touch point to strengthen our rural connection. We intend to further expand our Bidyut Seva Kendra network aggressively so that we can cover more and more rural areas to serve reliable power supply and quality service,” said, Mr. M. Shenbagam, Chief Executive Officer, TPCODL.
