Trainee Pilot Dies as Aircraft Crashes into Temple in MP

Bhopal: A trainer aircraft crashed into a temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district killing the pilot flying it. Another trainee pilot in the plane was seriously injured. The crash occurred at a distance of 400 km from Bhopal.

The crash occurred at around 11.30 pm on Thursday night. The aircraft was being flown by a trainee pilot. The aircraft hit the dome of a temple and a tree before crashing to the ground three km away from Chorhatta airstrip.

According to sources, the trainee pilot was on a training sortie. The deceased has been identified as Captain Vishal Yadav (30). Another trainee pilot Anshul Yadav was seriously injured in the crash. He was admitted in Sanjay Gandhi Medical College Hospital.
