Truck Rams Into Cattle Herd in Sundargarh, 12 Cows Killed

Sundargarh: At least 12 cows were killed and two bovines were seriously injured when a speeding truck ran over a herd of cattle on National Highway 143 near Biramitrapur in Sundargarh district on Saturday morning.

According to sources, the speeding truck tan over the cattle herd that was taking rest on the highway. The 12 cows died on the spot.

Following the accident, the driver fled from the spot. Local police rushed to the spot clear the carcasses from the highway. Two injured cows were transported to the local veterinary hospital for treatment.
