Two Killed As Heavy Rains Trigger Landslide in Kalahandi

Kalahandi: At least two persons were killed in a landslide caused by incessant rain at Durka Dangari mound near Alabhata village on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Rajkumari Naik (30), and Mukunda Parabhoi (55), both residents of the village of Alabhata.

Upon being informed, fire personnel from Jaipatna reached the spot and recovered the bodies for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway in this regard.
