Two Minor Boys Die Due To Electrocution While Catching Bird In Malkangiri

Malkangiri: At least two minor boys were electrocuted to death while trying to catch a bird at Undrukonda village under Kalimela police limits in Malkangiri district, today.

The deceased were identified as Chandan Padiami (7) and Manga Madhipuri (11) of the village.

According to reports, the incident occurred while two friends had climbed a tree to catch the bird, during which they came in contact with an 11 KV electric wire. Subsequently, both fell down from the tree.

They were rescued by family members and rushed to the Kalimela Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
