Two Terrorists Killed by Security Forces in Kashmir

Srinagar: Two terrorists were reportedly killed during an exchange of fire with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district in the early morning of Tuesday.

According to sources, this encounter occurred near the district court complex in Budgam town. Basing on intelligence reports, security personnel round up the area to nab the terrorists hiding in the area with some nefarious plans. When the armed terrorists did not surrender and shot the security personnel, their firing was retaliated.

Personnel of both police and the Army were involved in this operation. Efforts are underway to nab the terrorists, who are suspected to be hiding in the area.

According to Jammu Kashmir Police, the two slain terrorists were identified as Arbaaz Mir & Shahid Sheikh of Pulwama. They were members of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). They had managed to escaped from a recent encounter with security personnel.
