2 Terrorists Slain, 2 Jawans Injured In Exchange of Fire In J&K’s Baramulla

Srinagar: Two terrorists were slain and two army jawans were injured on Friday in the encounter between terrorists and security forces that continued for the second day in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The encounter began on Thursday at Check Mohalla Nowpora in the Sopore area. After the night’s silence, a fresh gunfight occurred at the place on Friday morning.

According to official sources, till now two terrorists have been killed in this encounter.

Two army personnel were also injured in this exchange of fire. They were shifted to a hospital for treatment. A civilian was also injured near the site of the encounter on Thursday.

The operation to flush out terrorists hiding in the area continues.
