Unit-1 Vegetable Market to Remain Closed For 4 Days

Bhubaneswar: The Unit-1 market, the biggest vegetable market in Bhubaneswar will remain closed for four days. On Tuesday Capital Daily Traders Association decided to close the market over parking issues. The agitating traders said they will extend the closure of the market till the parking issue was solved.

Efforts of Bhubaneswar Municipal Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) officials to resolve the issue through discussions have not yet brought any results. Fruit merchants and the traders’ union have asked for time till Tuesday to solve this problem. So the shops in Unit1 market are to remain closed till Tuesday.
