Vigilance Has Raided 39 Govt Officials, Seized Rs 49.35 Cr Disproportionate Assets After New Govt: Odisha CM

Bhubaneswar: After the formation of the new government in Odisha, the state vigilance department raided 39 government officials in the last two months. During the raids conducted between June 12, 2024, and August 25, 2024, a total of disproportionate assets (movable/immovable) worth Rs 49.35 crore has been seized.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi provided this information in the State Assembly on Monday while answering a question by Brahmagiri MLA Upasana Mohapatra.

From August 1, 2023 to August 25, 2024, the total value of assets seized in Vigilance raids is Rs. 115 crore, informed the CM.
