Watch | South Star Balkrishna’s fans Set Fire to Screen in Vizag Theatre

Visakhapatanam: Unruly fans of Nandamuri Balakrishna set the screen on fire out of sheer excitement at a theatre in Sabbavaram, Visakhapatnam on Thursday night. Police are investigating to find out the culprit behind this fiery mischief. Reportedly, some of the fans, out of excitement, set the screen on fire. Others watching the film in theatres were annoyed as they had to vacate the theatre immediately.

 

When it was found that the screen had been lit up by someone, the packed theater was immediately evacuated for the safety of all spectators.

It is still unclear how the screen caught fire. But, the remaining fans were disappointed and were asked to evacuate the theatre hall immediately.

This theater was screening Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy which was released on January 12. It is a typical south mass entertainer with Balkrishna in a double role. Due to similar unruly behavior of fans, several shows of this movie were cancelled in the US.

This movie also has Honey Rose, Shruti Haasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Duniya Vijay in supporting roles.
