Woman Stabbed to Death in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A woman was stabbed to death in the Gothapatna area under Chandaka police station limits in Bhubaneswar.

The body of the deceased was recovered on Tuesday evening. It is suspected that she was stabbed in a ruthless manner late at night on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Sasmita Behera (35), who was running a tiffin stall in the Gothapatna area. She was staying with her family in the Krishnapuri Colony.

The reason behind the murder of the woman in Bhubaneswar is yet to be ascertained. The Chandaka police have reached the spot along with the forensic team for investigation to ascertain the reason behind the murder and the identity of the killer.
