3 Women Arrested Over Human Trafficking In Balasore

Balasore: On Saturday night in the Asuria village of Nandur Panchayat in the Balasore district, the police arrested up to three middlewomen for their alleged involvement in the trafficking of tribal people.

The accused were allegedly trafficking certain tribal youths to another state. Women from the Swyansidha group alerted Khairia police and the child line after learning about the trafficking.

The police initiated an investigation into the matter, arrested the accused ladies, and freed nine young people from their custody.
