Three Youths Killed In Road Mishap In Bhawanipatna

Bhawanipatna: Three youths were killed after a speeding truck hit their bike near Panjikudi on NH-26 in Kalahandi’s Bhawanipatna on Saturday.

The deceased were natives of the nearby Dakabahali village.

According to reports, the trio met with an accident while they were returning home after cricket match from Utkela.

While returning, the mishap took place near Belamal village near Pastikudi on NH 26.

The speeding truck ran over them and the trio died on the spot.

The incident triggered agitation following a road blockade at the spot.

Meanwhile, police reached the spot, pacified the agitators and started an investigation into the matter.
