Abhisek Raut to Lead Odisha in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022

Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Wednesday announced the Odisha team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. This is a premier 50-over domestic tournament organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI). Thsi year’s Vijay Hazare Trophy starts from November 12.

Abhishek Raut, a well known name in the Indian domestic circuit will lead Odisha as the captain in the Vijay Hazare Trophy tournament.  Amin I Khan and Mushtaq Beg have got their maiden List-A call-up for Odisha for this tournament.

The Odisha squad also features former Hong Kong skipper Anshuman Rath.

It is pertinent to mention that, the OCA has arranged a couple of practice games for the Odisha team against Jharkhand at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on November 3 and 4.

The Odisha team will then travel to Mumbai to take on Uttarakhand in their opening match.
