Decomposed Body Found In Khordha Forest

Khordha: An unidentified decomposed body has been exhumed from the forest in Gudum Bengitangi of Khordha district on Thursday.

The matter came to light when locals, passing by the forest patch intimated the police about the matter.

On being informed, police reached the spot and initiated the probe.

As per the preliminary investigation, it was learnt that bleaching powder was sprinkled in the pit dug up to bury the body.

The body has been sent to a nearby hospital for post-mortem and an investigation is underway.
