Priyanka Sar from Bhubaneswar emerged state topper with a 99.98 NTA score. Priyanka, who came in at number 243 overall in India, credited her family and professors for helping her succeed.

This year, the JEE Main cut-off – minimum marks a student needs to score in order to qualify for JEE Advanced – is 90.77 percentile for general category candidates.

Here’s the category-wise JEE Main 2023 cut-offs list:

General: 90.7788642

EWS: 75.6229025

OBC: 73.6114227

SC: 51.9776027

ST: 37.2348772

UR-PH: 0.0013527

To lessen the likelihood of a tie between candidates, NTA calculates the JEE Main cut-off percentile up to seven decimal places. In order to turn a candidate’s raw score into a percentile score, a normalisation technique is also used.
In JEE Main, normalisation is utilised to make sure that no candidate is put at a disadvantage because the question paper in his or her test shift is tougher.

43 students in all secured a JEE Main 2023 score of 100 percentile.

NTA has only released the results for paper 1 (BE/BTech). Results for Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) are pending.
