Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rainfall and thundershowers in several parts of Odisha over the next two days. A trough running from Chhattisgarh to North Tamil Nadu is expected to bring light to moderate rain or thundershowers to many districts.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of the forecast:

  • Sunday, February 26th: Rain or thundershowers are very likely at a few places in North Odisha, Subarnapur, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Boudh, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri, Ganjam, and one or two places in Kalahandi, Rayagada, and Gajapati. Dry weather is expected in the remaining districts.
  • Monday, February 27th: Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at one or two places in Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Bolangir, Subarnapur, Angul, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sambalpur, and Deogarh. Dry weather is forecast in the rest of the state.

Minimum temperatures are expected to remain stable over the next four to five days.
