Odisha Govt Allocates Rs 37 Cr for Infrastructure Development at Rajdhani College

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has allocated Rs 37 crore for the development of infrastructure at Rajdhani College in the capital city. This funding will be utilized to construct a much-needed academic block at the college, addressing the current shortage of classrooms. The Principal (in-charge), Arun Kumar Samal, expressed his satisfaction with this decision.

The construction work for the new academic block, comprising three floors, will commence shortly under the supervision of the R&B division. Rajdhani College currently caters to approximately 3,000 students across various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses.

In addition to the academic block, the state government has also granted Rs 7.83 lakh for several projects at the college campus, including the installation of LED lights. Moreover, a new signboard will be erected at the college, displaying both Odia and English languages.

These measures undertaken by the Odisha government reflect their commitment to the development of Rajdhani College, ensuring an improved learning environment and enhanced facilities for the students.
