Online Registration Portal for Nabin Odisha Magic Card to Go Live on March 5

Bhubaneswar: The registration for the highly anticipated Nabin Odisha Magic Card is set to commence on March 5, with distribution to beneficiaries scheduled for August 15 of this year. Announced during the launch of the Nua-O scholarship scheme in Sambalpur, Angul, and Deogarh districts on February 26, the initiative is spearheaded by 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will launch the online registration portal for the Magic Card system, aimed at revolutionizing student support in higher education.

The card, based on a point system, will come in Silver, Gold, and Platinum categories, rewarding academic performance, discipline, extra-curricular activities, and community engagement.

Beneficiaries will enjoy a range of benefits, including concessions on transportation, phone recharges, wifi access, online courses, and career counseling.

Additionally, the card will facilitate job and placement opportunities by connecting students with potential recruiters via a LinkedIn-style platform, fostering industry interaction and supporting entrepreneurial aspirations.

The government is collaborating with the private sector to enhance the benefits available to students through the Magic Card program.
