Concerns Rise as Another Tusker Found Dead in Koira Forest Range

Koira: Yet another tusker has been found dead in the Koira forest range of Odisha’s Sundargarh district. Forest officials rushed to the Paramsahi area of Oraghat village to conduct a post-mortem examination, but the cause of death is yet to be ascertained.

This incident follows the discovery of another tusker carcass in the same area a few weeks ago. In recent years, a total of four elephants have died in the Koira forest range.

These repeated deaths have raised concerns about the safety of elephants in the region. Conservationists are calling for increased efforts to protect elephants and investigate the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
