Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced an exciting opportunity for aspiring medical professionals. The commission is inviting online applications for a total of 7,276 medical officer positions in Group A (Junior branch) of the Odisha Medical & Health Services cadre, under the Health & Family Welfare Department.

Important Details:

– The pay scale for these positions is attractive, with a salary of Rs 56,100 in level 12, cell 1 of the pay matrix, following the ORSP Rules 2017, along with dearness and other allowances.

– The online application process is set to commence on August 18, and interested candidates must apply before the deadline on September 19, 2023.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected through a written test. The written test will consist of one paper, carrying 200 marks, with multiple-choice questions. The duration of the examination is three hours. Notably, there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The syllabus for the exam is based on the Medical Council of India (MCI) syllabus for the M.B.B.S course.
