Odisha Unveils India’s Largest Sports Science Centre at Kalinga Stadium

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated India’s largest state-of-the-art Sports Science Centre at Bhubaneswar’s Kalinga Stadium, in collaboration with Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra. This all-encompassing facility, tailored for athletes from diverse disciplines, emerges as a hub for injury management, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. The Sports Science Centre, featuring specialized labs, aims to meet the needs of regional athletes while remaining accessible to elite talents nationwide.

Inaugurating the center, CM Patnaik emphasized its significance, stating, “This Sports Science Centre is a pivotal milestone in nurturing sporting talent. It integrates top-notch equipment and expertise, catalyzing athletes’ growth and enabling them to achieve their fullest potential.”
