OSSC Teacher Recruitment 2022: Over 7500 Vacancies | Here’s How To Apply

Bhubaneswar: Complying with the direction issued by Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 7540 High School Teachers. Earlier, CM Naveen had asked OSSC to fill up the vacancies in 4848 government high schools of the state, prompting the recruitment process.

The online application process will start on the 11th of next month and will end on the 9th of January 2023. Trained Graduate Teachers (Arts, PCM, CBZ), Teachers in Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu, Urdu, and Physical Education teachers will be recruited through the recruitment process. A candidate must be between 21 to 38 years as on January 1, 2022, to be eligible to apply for the posts. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SEBC, SC, ST, and all women candidates, whereas, 10 years for candidates belonging to the PwD category.

Whereas the educational qualification requirement varies from post to post, it is mandatory for a candidate to pass the Odisha State Teacher Eligibility Test (OSTET) for him/her to become eligible to be considered for recruitment.

How to Apply:

• The applicants should go through the detailed advertisement (attached below) listed on the OSSC website before filling up the online application form.
• The candidate may apply for the post as per her/his eligibility as per the terms of the advertisement.
• All eligible candidates have to register themselves by clicking on the “APPLY ONLINE” button on the home page of the Commission’s website www.ossc.gov.in.
• Those candidates who are applying for the first time have to register for the post by clicking on “NEW USER” button shown on the screen. On submitting the registration. form a User Id and a Password will be generated.
• On clicking “New user” or “Registered User”, instruction for filling up the Online Registration/ Re-registration and Application Forms shall appear on the computer screen. These instructions should be read carefully before proceeding with filling up the Application Form.
