Man Killed By His Wife and Children in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: A man was allegedly beaten to death by his wife, three sons, and a daughter at Daulatpur village under Pirahat police station in Bhadrak district.

Family tussle is suspected to be the reason behind this killing. The deceased was identified as Babua Das. According to police sources, the wife and children of the deceased absconded after the incident.

Babua and his wife were having regular quarrels. Because of it, she along with her sons and daughter were staying at her parental house at Sabarangpur.

It is suspected that on Wednesday night, Babua’s wife and her children had come to Daulatpur. They attacked Babua with crowbars, while he was sleeping outside his house.

Villagers had taken the seriously injured Babua to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead. Receiving a complaint from the mother of the deceased, police rushed to the spot for investigation. Meanwhile, police have rounded up one of three sons for interrogation.
