Satya Nayak Resigns From His Posts In Odisha Congress

Bhubaneswar: Well-known Odia journalist and Congress leader, Satya Prakash Nayak on Tuesday resigned as Media Convenor and General Secretary of Odisha Congress.

Nayak’s step came after his name was excluded from the list of eligible voters in the election for party president.

He, however, said that he will continue to work for the party.

Nayak sent his resignation to Pradesh Congress Committee President Sarat Pattanayak and the party’s Odisha in-charge A Chellakumar.

“Since Pradesh Congress members are chosen taking into consideration their contributions and experience, I feel the posts held by me are of little use to the party. Therefore, I decided to quit these posts,” Nayak said.
